About our event

Celebrating Muslim Women is a free event featuring short films, dance, and spoken word performances honoring the power of Muslim women’s  voices. We are uplifting our local artists and bringing the  diverse Tampa Bay community together under one roof.

Celebrating Muslim Women will take place  on November 13 at the historic Tampa Theatre, named “One of Most Beautiful Cinemas in the World.” The theater can seat 1,238 audience members, and you can help us fill every seat.

By promoting Muslim female voices, we empower not only Muslim women but also society at large. We expect a sold out  audience from the Muslim community, Tampa filmmakers and industry professionals, as well as activists and everyday people who just like movies.
