            Reels of fire takes the center stage as the main event during the Instincts, the highly anticipated cultural festival of SSN and SNUC featuring a diverse range of competitions in music, dance, film, drama, literature and more.

Reels of fire, our film club’s flagship event, offers an exciting evening of cinema with top short film selections chosen by a prestigious judging panel. Recognized as one of the biggest short film competitions among college students across the state, Reels of Fire not only stands as a significant precursor to major film events globally but also offers a paramount platform for emerging filmmakers to showcase their talent and captivate audiences.

            In previous editions, our film club's flagship event has been graced by distinguished chief guests, including prominent directors Mohan Raja and PS Mithran. Alongside, the Director of "Don," Cibi Chakaravarthi, Director of "Oh My Kadavule," Ashwath Marimuthu, and the visionary "Kuthukku Pathu" Vijay Varadharaj team joined us in previous years to appreciate and support the art of filmmaking.
