Marco Palamone

Marco Palamone is an Italian dancer, ballet master, and artistic director with an international career spanning Europe and Australia. He graduated from the English National Ballet School in London and began his professional journey at a young age, moving abroad from Italy at just 10 years old to pursue his training at Elmhurst Ballet School, in association with Birmingham Royal Ballet.

 

He has performed with renowned companies including Teatrul de Balet Sibiu, Melbourne City Ballet, Opéra Grand Avignon, and Theater Plauen Zwickau, developing a versatile repertoire that bridges classical ballet and contemporary language.

 

In addition to his performing career, he has established himself as a ballet master, with a particular focus on partnering technique and the artistic depth of pas de deux, a central element of his work.

 

As a choreographer, his creations have received international recognition. He was awarded First Prize for choreography at the Jeonju International Dance Festival in South Korea, as well as the Best Performance Award at an international online dance competition in Canada. In 2026, he was also recognized among the “100 Artists of Europe,” highlighting his growing impact within the international dance scene.

 

Marco Palamone is the Founder and Artistic Director of the International Dance Gala in Busto Arsizio, a project created to unite artists from different countries, companies, and artistic backgrounds. The Gala reflects his vision of dance as a universal language, capable of connecting cultures and making high level artistic experiences accessible to a wider audience.

 

His artistic path is defined by a continuous exploration of movement, musicality, and emotional depth, alongside a strong commitment to creating meaningful opportunities for both dancers and audiences.
