My name is Shanikee Monroe. I’m planning a nonprofit organization dedicated to provide support for injured veterans, disabled American veterans, and support for veterans and their families. I am the daughter of a Marine who served 25 years in the Marine Corps and it has always been a dream for me to help all veterans in any way possible.
I'm reaching out because we're excited to announce our upcoming event, Juneteenth Southern Soul event which will take place on June 19, 2026 in Tabor City with up to 5000 or more attendees. This event aims to give support for Veterans and will feature Artists of Southern Soul Music, horseback riders, vendors, games, and family friendly events.
