Research Talks in Colleges,

India India

  • About the event

The goal of our research talks is to inspire students, expose them to global research problems and potential solutions, introduce them to global research opportunities, and guide them in pursuing successful careers in science.

    Why should you sponsor?

Supporting Lablinkup’s research talk series offers sponsors a unique opportunity to align their brand with a platform that is fostering the next generation of scientific leaders. Here’s why sponsorship is beneficial:

    1. Direct Engagement with Future Innovators: Our talks attract passionate college students and aspiring researchers, giving sponsors a chance to connect directly with a highly motivated and aspiring researchers audience. Sponsors can position themselves as champions of education and innovation.

    2. Brand Visibility and Positive Impact: By supporting these events, sponsors will gain prominent exposure across multiple channels (social media, virtual event platforms), and be associated with educational initiatives that have a lasting impact on students’ academic and career paths. It’s a chance to enhance your brand’s reputation within the scientific and academic communities.

    3. Empowering Underrepresented Talent: Lablinkup’s mission is to bring research exposure to students who often have limited access to such opportunities. Supporting our series not only aligns with corporate social responsibility but also demonstrates a commitment to diversity and inclusion in education and research.

    4. Long-term Collaboration Potential: By partnering with Lablinkup, sponsors gain the opportunity to foster relationships with emerging scientists and researchers. This can lead to future collaborations, internships, and recruitment opportunities, as students become more familiar with the sponsor’s brand.

    5. Positive Association with Scientific Growth: Sponsors will be recognized as key enablers of cutting-edge discussions that inspire new ideas, foster scientific growth, and contribute to innovation across various disciplines.

In short, sponsoring Lablinkup’s research talks allows companies to support education, gain exposure to future innovators, and be part of a growing community dedicated to advancing research and science.

    ANKUR GUPTA

I am a biophysicist researcher specializing in Neurobiology and the activation mechanisms of G protein-coupled receptors (GPCRs), with a keen fascination for the intricate designs of life found in nature. My passion lies in unraveling the mysteries of biological phenomena and solving intriguing research challenges.

During my doctoral studies at TIFR, India, I focused on the intricate interactions between small molecules, such as neurotransmitters, and Intrinsically Disordered Proteins (IDPs), with biological membranes, uncovering their profound biological implications. Currently, at the University of Copenhagen, I am focused on deciphering the mechanisms underlying GPCR activation on membranes and its pharmacological implications.

In addition to my research pursuits, I am actively involved in a startup venture Lablinkup aimed at revolutionizing the academic research landscape and research-based exposure and education. Our platform facilitates one-to-one LIVE virtual interactions with young scientists from academic research labs, providing invaluable insights into various fields, institutes, and research methodologies. Our mission is to empower students and aspiring researchers by offering firsthand experiences and mentorship from esteemed professionals in the field.

I am passionate about bridging the gap between scientific world and aspiring minds, and I am committed to making meaningful contributions to the advancement of scientific knowledge and education. Connect with me to explore opportunities for collaboration and exchange insights on cutting-edge research in Neurobiology and beyond.
