My name is AbdelMadjid Sahraoui, and I am the Sponsorship Coordinator at the York Federation of Students (YFS) at York University, representing York University's undergraduate student body.

We are thrilled to extend an invitation to You to partner with us for our upcoming Welcome Back Week, YorkFest 2025. YorkFest is renowned as the largest Welcome Week celebration on any university or college campus across Canada, attracting over 300 student clubs, vendors, sponsors, and 50,000 undergraduate students. At YFS, we pride ourselves on fostering a vibrant and dynamic campus community, and YorkFest serves as the initial platform to introduce students to the wide array of services and opportunities available at York University.

YorkFest is a week-long roster of events geared towards all incoming students, such as our annual YorkFest Concert, Dirty Bingo, and the Festival Village where sponsors and student clubs engage with students throughout the day. In the past year, we’ve had great partnerships with BMO, TD Bank, Koodo/TELUS, Rogers/Chatr, Phillips, eBay, Skip the Dishes, Lyft, and many more.

Over the years, we have hosted big named artists such as Tinashe, Ayra Starr, Uncle Waffles, DVSN, Roy Woods, Machel Montano, Tory Lanez, Alessia Cara, AlunaGeorge, Big Sean, Nas, Keri Hilson, Lupe Fiasco, and Major Lazer. Only with the sponsorship of companies like yours is it possible to make such a week a success year after year.

YorkFest Week this year will fall on September 15, 2025, until September 19, 2025.
